🧭 How to Use the Asset Management Module
1. 📦 Create a New Asset
Go to Assets from the CRM menu
Click "Add New Asset"
Fill in required information:
Asset name (required)
Asset code (auto-generated but editable)
Category and subcategory (required)
Assign to company (optional)
Quantity and unit of measurement
Unit price and purchase date
Location (optional)
Serial number (auto-generated if not provided)
Warranty period (in months)
Depreciation period (in years)
Salvage value
Model and supplier information
Description and images
Click Save - The system will:
Generate a QR code automatically
Send notification to the assigned company
Record the creation in asset history
2. 🏢 Manage Asset Subcategories
Set Up Subcategories:
Go to Asset Subcategories
Create main Subcategories (e.g., Laptops", "Desktops")
Define units of measurement (pieces, sets, meters, etc.)
3. 📍 Configure Locations
Location Management:
Set up locations where assets can be stored or used
Assign assets to specific locations for better tracking
Move assets between locations as needed
4. 👥 Allocate Assets to Users
Allocation Process:
Select an asset from your assets list
Choose "Allocate" action
Select the user to receive the asset
Specify quantity to allocate
Add notes if needed
The user will receive an automatic notification

Revocation Process:

Select "Revoke" action

User will be notified of the revocation
